Stroud Alarms was fully accredited in November 2005 with the SSAIB (Security Systems and Alarms Inspection board) The SSAIB is a specialist Certification Body for provides of Electronic Security Systems, CCTV and Access Control, also a member of UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Services) and all our engineers have past experience in leading UK Security Companies.
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service is the sole national accreditation body recognized by the government to assess, reference international agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, and inspection and calibration services.
Our Company conforms to the latest Intruder Alarm European Standard Requirements: - EN50131-1 2004 and in accordance with PD6662 and supplemented by DD243-2004 CCTV BS EN 50132-7:1997 and Access Control BS EN 50133-7:1999
Stroud Alarms was also accredited in June 2006 with CHAS (Contractors Heath and Safety assessment Scheme) this is a Government heath and
safety Assessment scheme making sure Stroud Alarms work will be conducted under the auspices of the Heath and Safety Act 1974 with associated Heath and Safety guidance, providing on site full risk and method statements.
Our Company is on the approved list of compliant company's register with Gloucester and Avon and Somerset Constabularies. Our staff have all undertaken a PNC (Police National Computer) security check to comply with BS 7858.
Stroud Alarms received its Annual Inspection by the SSAIB Inspector this year November 2006. The Inspectors report as follows, 'No nonconformity's with 100% maintenance achievements, no annual false alarm calls, an exemplary company with very high standards of administration, installation and maintenance.'
