All new installations are designed to comply with the current European Standards for intruder alarms. A risk assessment is also undertaken for all new installations to determine the insurance risk of the property. We can provide you with a full quotation to install a new system, or service and maintain any existing system that you may have.
Alarm Receiving Centre
Our Intruder Alarm Systems provide the optimum protection when used in conjunction with an Alarm Receiving Centre. In the event of an alarm condition, the intruder system will send a signal to the Alarm Receiving Centre who will then take appropriate action such as summoning local police, or contacting designated key holders. There are several ways of transmitting the signal from the site to the Alarm Receiving Centre. The method of signalling will depend on the level of risk associated with the premises.
Digital Communicators
Digital Communicators offer a cost effective means of transmitting signals to an Alarm Receiving Centre. Digital communicators connect to a standard telephone line (PSTN) and in the event of an alarm they will contact the Alarm Receiving Centre and exchange code information. If the telephone line is cut the Alarm Receiving Centre is NOT notified and the system reverts to local audible indication only.
Redcare benefits and features
Stroud Alarms is a BT Redcare approved installer. Redcare has gained the Police Preferred Specification status. This was achieved by BT after testing against and meeting the highest grade (Grade 4) of the new European Standard 50131 There is no need for an extra telephone line (a Modem Compatible device maybe needed if fax and data services are being used on the same line).
